The Fathers Programme has been created and implemented by National Grid staff for National Grid staff (core and agency), to support new and expecting fathers on their journey into parenthood.
The programme, developed with Work & Life Matters, will help staff and managers (of the employees attending, although this will be open to all managers) through a series of workshops and webinars, and will also create a pool of mentors to provide ongoing, self-sufficient support.
What workshops do we run?
New and expectant fathers’ workshops
These workshops provide practical tools and insightful information on how to achieve a balance between being a father and managing work.
A series of three lunchtime webinars to provide practical tools and insightful information on how to engage fathers in the workplace.
An all-day workshop aimed to establish a group of skilled individuals, who are motivated and able, to support fellow employees through the transition to working parent.
To find out when the next workshops are, please speak to your line manager or the Inclusion and Diversity team.
