Employee engagement survey 2016 results available

A high-level summary of the overall National Grid employee survey results is now available. Click here to hear John Pettigrew’s thoughts on this year’s results. Detailed results for local areas will also be released today for all managers with eight or more responses from their team.

This year, 87% of you took the opportunity to tell us what you thought about working at National Grid. Thanks to your participation we have also raised over £8,000 and $11,000 for two very worthy causes – Macmillan Cancer Support (UK) and The American Cancer Society (US).

What happens with the results next?

Over the next few weeks, local leaders will be analysing their results to understand your feedback. We need to keep momentum up where we are doing well, and look to those areas where you have said we need to make improvements for our action planning.

Local engagement champions are there to help support managers and employees through this action planning process. The most effective action plans are those that involve employees, so make sure you get involved in identifying and addressing the issues that matter the most to you.

I’m a manager, where are my results?

If you have received eight or more responses from your team, you can now access your results in the Hay Group reporting site. You will receive an e-mail telling you how to use and access the site including your username and initial password. If you do not receive this and are expecting survey results for your team, please contact .box.employeesurvey.
