Next week will mark the anniversary of National Grid being named Responsible Business of the Year and Steve Holliday is getting ready to pass on the baton to the winning company for 2015.
On 7 July Business in the Community will be hosting its Annual Responsible Business Gala in the Royal Albert Hall and National Grid will be out in force – both as sponsors of the event but also to host many of the community partners who helped the company to achieve the title of Responsible Business of the Year 2014.
Over 1,000 guests from across the business community will gather to celebrate the very best in field of responsible business practice and the hosts for the evening will be Claudia Winkleman, TV Presenter, and Adam Hills, Comedian.
“As sponsors for the event we have been at the centre of arrangements for the evening,” says Maeve Chappell, Programme Manager, Responsible Business of the Year, “From engaging the celebrity hosts to choosing the theme for the event ‘Bring new energy to business’. Steve Holliday our CEO is the keynote speaker ahead of an energising opening performance from over 80 City Year Corp Members. We are looking forward to a great evening, hosting our guests and learning from the experience of our 2015 award winners.”
Steve Holliday chaired the judging panel to decide the winner of the Responsible Business of the Year 2015 and the Award will be presented to the winning company at the end of the Gala event.
