The trophies have arrived and the certificates are signed ready for our finalists attending the 2015 Chairman’s Awards next Tuesday. We’ll be announcing the winners of this year’s Awards at the prestigious One Whitehall Place in London – and we want you to join in the celebrations!
The Chairman’s Awards recognise the outstanding contributions of employees who are making a difference to the lives of customers, communities and their colleagues every day. This year is another exceptional year, with our finalists truly demonstrating why we won Responsible Business of the Year 2014.
At next week’s ceremony we will be celebrating these exceptional efforts with a performance from our UK employee choir Gridtones and a three-course meal before announcing our winners.
We’ll be sharing the celebrations with a live blog on ournationalgrid.com and updates on twitter, facebook and our US Instagram account so you can follow the evening’s events and support your colleagues. Send them ‘good luck’ and ‘congratulations’ over social media through the evening, or day in the US, using #GridAwards.
For a reminder of the projects that reached the final, read our interviews with the finalists below – here’s a few of our favourite quotes:
